INGREDIENTS:
6 tablespoons cocoa powder1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups quick oats
1 cup shredded coconut
DIRECTIONS:
- In a saucepan melt butter with cocoa powder and stir.
- Stir in milk and sugar.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat for at least 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
- In a separate bowl mix quick oats and coconut.
- Pour liquid mixture over oats and coconut and mix well.
- Drop by teaspoons onto wax paper and let cool. Cookies will become dry and easy to remove off paper.
Makes three dozen cookies.
