One of my greatest treasures growing up was my yellow Sony
Walkman. Despite chewing through countless AA batteries and cassette tapes, I
thought it was the greatest piece of technology, belt clip and all. It even
allowed me to become proficient in the art of untangling and rewinding exposed
tape with a pencil.
The Walkman met its production death in 2010, but like any
technology, it was never going to last forever. The video below is an amusing reminder of how quickly technology evolves.
